Heyo from the other half of the group. We spent the week on the beautiful Lake Bunyoni, where we dug a garden, dug out a space for a compost bin, and assisted in after school activities. Jill and Adam ran a P.E. course, Bridget oversaw an art class, Saxon did dance and became godfather to a chicken.
In our free time we swam, went canoeing, took a hike, and watched football at a neighboring resort. So, yeah. Until next time.

What??????
You got Saxon to see a chicken and not want to kill/eat (not in that particular order mind you) it?
How did this happen?
It must a been one very special chicken.
Every time I ask him about his chickens at home he says "O, the chickens I can't eat? Well one of them is getting to the point were she isn't laying sooooooo"
*licks lips*
Well, it sounds as though you all are having a good balance of service projects and fun. I am happy to hear of Saxon's interspecies (god)fatherhood!
